Eurographics Symposium Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine @ STIMULATE
Vom 19. bis 20. September findet am Forschungscampus STIMULATE das 14. Eurographics Symposium "Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine" statt. Vorgestellt werden innovative Lösungen, mit denen Mediziner:innen und Biolog:innen diagnostische und therapeutische Entscheidungen auf der Basis von Bilddaten treffen können. Dabei werden radiologische und mikroskopische Bilddaten verwendet und ein breites Spektrum an Analyse- und Visualisierungstechniken bis hin zu Virtual Reality eingesetzt. Das genaue Vortragsprogramm steht erst nach Abschluss der Begutachtung der eingereichten Beiträge fest. Eingeladene Vorträge international renommierter Expert:innen und Laborbesichtigungen am Forschungscampus runden das Programm ab. So wird Prof. Kozlikova, Masaryk Universität Brno, über die visuelle Darstellung von zeitveränderlichen biologischen Daten sprechen und die Ärztin Dr. Hüttel wird einen Vortrag zum Thema From Simulation to AI: Technological Revolution in Surgical Education" halten.
Eurographics Symposium Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine @ STIMULATE
The 14th Eurographics Symposium "Visual Computing in Biology and Medicine" will take place at the Research Campus STIMULATE from 19 to 20 September. This event will introduce innovative solutions that enable doctors and biologists to make diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on image data. Radiological and microscopic image data will be used and a wide range of analysis and visualisation techniques, including virtual reality, will be employed. The exact programme of the conference will not be finalised until the review of the submitted papers has been completed. Invited talks by internationally renowned experts and laboratory tours on the research campus will round off the programme. Prof. Kozlikova, Masaryk University Brno, will talk about the visual representation of time-varying biological data and the physician Dr Hüttel will give a lecture on "From Simulation to AI: Technological Revolution in Surgical Education".
