STIMULATE erfolgreich auf der ISMRM Konferenz
Die ISMRM (International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine), eine angesehene internationale Konferenz für Forschung im Bereich der Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT), fand dieses Jahr in Singapur statt. In ihrem Rahmen stellten STIMULATE-Mitarbeitende von der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg (OVGU) und von der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover (MHH) gemeinsame interdisziplinäre Forschungsarbeiten zu neuen MRT-Empfangsspulen vor.
Die Mitarbeitenden der Forschungsgruppe für „Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging“ präsentierten „Advances in Musculoskeletal Imaging: The Potential of Wireless Metasurface Coils” (Dr. Daniel Düx) und Ergebnisse zu „Potential of Metasurface Resonators for Low-Field MRI Systems“ (Robert Kowal). Erstere Publikation wurde dabei von der Society mit dem hochrangigen „Summa Cum Laude Merit Award“ ausgezeichnet.

STIMULATE successful at the ISMRM
The ISMRM (International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine), a prestigious international conference for research in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), took place in Singapore this year. STIMULATE employees from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (OVGU) and Hannover Medical School (MHH) presented joint interdisciplinary research work on new MRI receiver coils at the conference.
The members of the research group for "Interventional Magnetic Resonance Imaging" presented "Advances in Musculoskeletal Imaging: The Potential of Wireless Metasurface Coils" (Dr. Daniel Düx) and results on "Potential of Metasurface Resonators for Low-Field MRI Systems" (Robert Kowal). The former publication was honoured by the Society with the high-ranking "Summa Cum Laude Merit Award".
